RS30 CREPUSCULE - Hybrid Cancer TAPE

In 1991 HIGH SPEED DEATH were left by their bassist Mauro, but continued as a duo end evolved into a more controlled and technical, yet brutal, death metal. Nick Curri, well-known for his artworks and promotion actiivity in the extreme metal underground, helped them finding the new monicker CREPUSCULE as well as designing the logo. This is their only demo released in 1992. In 1993 the band folded, and Raff joined GORY BLISTER, which just released their second demo, while Rodolfo joined FUNERAL ORATION where Nick Curri was singing at the time.

RS29 HIGH SPEED DEATH - Damned Genesis TAPE

The Taranto area, in the Apulia region, Italy, started to develop its own extreme metal scene in 1989 with the forerunners FUNERAL ORATION, soon followed by GORY BLISTER and HIGH SPEED DEATH, the latter featuring Raff Sangiorgio and Rodolfo Russo, key figures of the uprising scene. H.S.D. played relentless thrash/death metal in the vein of early SEPULTURA and this is their only demo originally released in 1991.

RS28 GORY BLISTER - Spoils 1991-1993 LP/CD

Gory Blister originally hailed from Taranto, South of Italy, and were one of the very first extreme metal bands of the area. In the old days of the underground they chose to walk the less common path of technical, yet very fast and aggressive, death metal. Influenced by the likes of early ATHEIST, SADUS and DEATH, they released a demo in 1991, "Spoilt by greed", and a second one in 1993, "Hanging down the sounds", here reissued for the very first time.

GENITAL GRINDER formed as Mass Slaughter in 1990. After a demo and a change of vocalist, in 1991 they switched to the new name and released this piece of history of the Italian extreme metal underground, "Mass putrefaction" is sick guttural grinding death metal for the lovers of the old way. RS26 TERRIFIC VERDICT - Demos 1988-1989 LP

Once again Ripping Storm digs in the old and deep Finnish underground. TERRIFIC VERDICT formed in Helsinki in 1986. Before splitting up in 1990 they manage to release two outstanding demos in 1988 and 1989. This is fast, violent and relentless thrash metal influenced by early KREATOR, sounding not far from what MERCILESS were doing at the same time in Sweden.

RS25 DAMAGE - The immortal death 1986-1987 CD

The story of DAMAGE from Finland dates back to 1982 when the punk band MUSTA RISTI formed in Kuopio. In 1983 they changed name to POLIISIVALTIO releasing two demos in 1983 and 1985. Then the final switch to DAMAGE in 1986, becoming one of the very first bands playing speed/thrash metal in the country, although still influenced by punk. They released their self-titled debut 7" EP in the same year and, alongside VENDETTA (also originating from a punk band, VARAUS), were the first band putting out a vinyl of this genre of music in Finland, as STONE or FAFF BEY were still at a demo stage. In 1987 they released the "The Immortal Death" 12" LP on Dekadenz, the same label of VENDETTA. The band split-up around 1988, but three out of four members resurfaced in WARMATH.

RS20 NECROPHAGIA L.A. - The figure four 1984-1987 LP/CD

A mandatory piece of the early L.A. thrash metal scene. NECROPHAGIA started in 1984 relasing their first demo "Murder in the first degree" later that year. In 1986 they released a self-titled 12" vinyl EP, the very first release by the notorious Wild Rags Records. In 1987 the band released "It began with a twisted dream", their final demo. After switching to the NECROPHAGIA L.A. monicker and being signed by Alchemy Records, the band disbanded for good in 1989.
2021 LP reissue cover replicates the Wild Rags "Hardcore Demo Series" including the silver sticker. CD version features a different cover artwork and includes the 2019 Demo by NEKROSEIZURE, the most recent band incarnation featuring two founding NECROPHAGIA members.

CALIGULA formed in 1984 in New York City and were part of that legendary wave when punk and metal bands started crossing each other's territory and playing shows together. CALIGULA raised their banner high playing shows with the likes of WHIPLASH, CARNIVORE, SHEER TERROR, CRUMBSUCKERS, AGNOSTIC FRONT, REST IN PIECES and many more. "Technical Aggression" is their 1987 Demo featuring five songs of fast and violent thrash metal that betrays the hardcore influence only in its speed and in the super-aggressive approach.
The LP version features 4 extra never heard before tracks recorded live at the CBGB's in 1987 with an incredibly good sound.
The CD version features the whole CBGB's show and two additional tracks recorded live in 1988, never heard before as well.

Zoldier Noiz from France have been active since 1999 and this is their second album after "Schizoid Reject" from 2009.
